Sea Moss: How to prepare to consume

Sea Moss is a species of seaweed (algae) that is grown and harvested primarily from the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Oceans. Serves: 8 oz


Ingredients 7 grams of Sea Moss

3 cups of Water


Instructions Take approximately 7 grams of sea moss rinse clean, inspect for sand and other sea debris.

  1. Soak for 20 min at room temperature with squeezed and sliced limes/lemons. Rinse out water and soak again for another 10 minutes.

  2. The sea moss will turn into a white-translucent color, it will take on a slippery, soft texture. The size will double.

  3. Drain off the water, rinse clean.

  4. Add spring water (preferably hot to further expand the mass of sea moss ) and sea moss to the blender, blend until smooth and creamy.

  5. Pour into a mason jar, and refrigerate. Allow up to an hour for thickening

  6. You also have the option to just add nut milk and sweetner of your choice and enjoy!


Notes Store sea moss in the refrigerator for up to four weeks.
